JennAir is a Benton Harbor, Michigan-based designer and manufacturer of household appliances and fixtures. The original Jenn-Air Products Company was founded by Louis J. Jenn in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1947, later becoming simply Jenn-Air. In the early years, the company was focused on manufacturing and marketing of industrial fans for use in a variety of commercial and industrial applications. In 1961, Jenn-Air's integration of one of these fans to a cook-top range led to the invention of the first self-ventilated downdraft range. The company expanded its product line to include many other kitchen appliances including microwave ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and small appliances such as mixers and blenders.

A disappointed customer shared this on ConsumerAffairs "Purchased these products with the understanding that there were more pricey, hence a better quality product. Nothing further from the truth. Fridge keeps leaking water from filter area. Had it checked, replaced filter. Tested and no issue found, However now it still leaking from a different area, Had serviced, inspected. Was fine for two weeks now again n still leaking. Dishwasher, will not run through any cycles. Had motherboard replaced twice, had rail latch for door replaced. Now same issues now we are waiting on another motherboard. Due to Covid it has been 4 weeks now still waiting on part. Purchased all Jenn Air products for our kitchen remodel in Spring of 2016. Have had issues since 2019 at 3 years old. There are now 4 years old. We have not extended warranties at this point. I have expressed my disappointment to dealer to no avail".

Sonu Madan says

"The technician did not show up"

Randy Walker says

"Mine started off fine. Prompt, on time. I had a Jennair freezer that kept freezing up. The technician they sent literally did not speak a word of English. Nice guy but he was here five minutes and just pointed to what he said was the problem and it was a part that I had just replaced. When I tried to explain he just pointed to his phone that the part was out of stock took my credit and left. I found the part in 5 minutes after he left. I had no idea if they were going to order the part, come back or not. He didn’t check anything. He based his assessment on the picture I showed him of the frozen coils."

Karl Becker says

"I used I used them to pick a company to come and fix my washing machine. The company came out. They told me that serviz would cost me $610 to fix it. If I would just use them and leave serviz out it would cost $380. So I just had them fix it. Not only was serviz price too high but the repair company they sent did not know what they were doing. 2 months later and it is still not fixed. I would not trust this web site again."

Anita Graham says

"I made an appt on Sunday for Monday for a refrigerator repair. They called back shortly after booking on Sunday and canceled my appt, "no technicians available" they say. I rescheduled for Wednesday. They left a message late in the afternoon on Tuesday to cancel again, "no technicians available" again. Meanwhile, I already waited and wasted 2 days as we scrambled to keep the food from spoiling. Don't waste your time with this joke of a company. If you do, you better have a back up because they will leave you hanging."
